About Rolls And Grill

Rolls And Grill is an american restaurant in Bakersfield, California. It is listed at 3803 Ming Ave, Bakersfield, CA 93309, which places it among the local businesses of Bakersfield that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 10 am–8 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Rolls And Grill at (661) 735-5830; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is rollsandgrill.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.3 out of 5 on Google across 368 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded american restaurants in Bakersfield.

Bakersfield is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Bakersfield follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I arrived today around 7:35pm, and the guy approached us that our food order must be only to go…however, the restaurant closed at 8pm. So we were three people and we were going t to spent around $70-$80 in food, but we declined his offer. Apparently, you cannot longer dined there if you arrived 30 minutes before closing, and I think that is not a good service. I am going to spend my money instead where I can get better service and where we can eat at the restaurant—these are lazy people! Stay away from this restaurant!!!

I love the beef plate, Pork spring rolls ( omit the crunchy thing inside) with their vinegar sauce & Their egg rolls . I am addicted . Come by & try them you'll be glad you did .Always plenty of seating & nice music playing in the background .

Pleasantly surprised. Great flavor on the grilled pork and nice herby depth in the pho. Be patient when they're busy. Food comes out fairly quickly but tough when they're overloaded like in any restaurant. Solid, would go back.

First off I ordered 4 grilled chicken spring rolls and they were a tie with my favorite ones up until this point, as no other spring rolls have come anywhere close. Second, you know how some places skimp on the meat and or it has no flavor, that is NOT the case with this place. They’re loaded with flavor, bbq crispy texture and bomb flavor! The peanut sauce that came with was decent, not most flavor but got the job done.

This place is really great! The first thing I noticed was it smelled really clean. There's a good amount of seating and the tables are a nice cherry wood color. There's not much to look at in the way of decorations or atmosphere but I did appreciate the tv playing music videos from the 80s. I ordered the Grilled Pork Chop plate and a Thai tea. Both tasted amazing! The pork was well seasoned and it came with white rice and undressed salad. They give you a side of dipping sauce of a kind of fish sauce. The service was nice. I let them know it was my first time visiting their restaurant and they were quick to let me know they'd answer any questions I had. I also had a side of the classic pork and shrimp spring roll. It tasted very fresh and had a good crunchy center. The peanut sauce they served the spring rolls with was very tasty. Overall, I had a very good experience here and the food was very tasty. Definitely would recommend.
